"I was living the American Dream of success - but not my dream."
For eighteen years I was a multinational corporate attorney. From the outside, everything looked fine. Inside, I was overstressed and depleted, and my health kept sliding to the back burner - until prediabetes, then hypertension, then a frightening cancer scare made it impossible to keep overriding my body.
I sat in the oncologist's office as he said the word cancer twenty-five times in ten minutes. I thought of my older brother, who had died of a heart attack at 42 - I was now in my 40s myself. The question was no longer abstract: was the life I'd worked so hard to build worth what it was costing me?
So I left. I went back to school, trained as a licensed dietitian-nutritionist, somatic practitioner, and woman-centered transformation coach, and rebuilt my health from the foundation up - physiologically and at the level of identity. My blood sugar returned to a healthy range. My hypertension resolved. But the deepest change was that I stopped relating to my body as another problem to manage. I became a woman who naturally lived this way, so I had the foundation to create the life I wanted.
People often think I'm twenty years younger than I am. At 65, I am still becoming - and that is exactly the point.
Today I guide accomplished women through the same journey, using the Vitality Operating System™ I built from everything I learned reclaiming my own vitality, and refined from my decades of working with women like me. I don't teach from a finished place. I teach from the road I'm still walking - a little ahead, with my hand extended back toward you.
